Aims

The aim of Computers and Integration is to provide access to computers and software training to all people in our Community.

We work with local and national organisations looking at how we can improve access to learning using technology.

We also aim to encourage a wider awareness of how computers and software applications are more and more found in so many areas of our everyday life.

By providing both an informal environment and training procedures, we hope to provide a service which suits people who may feel excluded from more formal training providers.

For some of our members, volunteers and staff, the above approach to training in computer use, leads to an increased level of confidence and self esteem. Some of our members have become volunteers within the Organisation. Others have gone in to supported employment and full time employment. Some members, volunteers and staff have moved on to further learning opportunities.
