Introduction to Computers and Integration
Welcome
Computers and Integration is a Voluntary Organisation and a registered Charity, operating in the North East of Scotland. The primary aim of our Organisation is to provide access to computers and software training for people in the area. We have expertise in assistive technology which means we can offer our service to people with physical impairments, older people and people with sensory impairments. We have facilities in Inverurie and operate with part time staff, volunteers, and a board of directors who oversee the daily running of the organisation. This board is composed of both volunteers and members, who have a wide and diverse range of both life and work experience behind them.
We provide various accredited training courses, the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), EqualSkills and CLAIT are some of the more recognised. We also provide one to one training for people who have never used a computer before.
Equality and Diversity Policy
Computers and Integration (CAI) recognises that many people in our society experience discrimination or lack of opportunity for reasons which are not fair.
CAI aims to create a culture that respects and values each others differences. CAI sees these differences as an asset to our work.
All employees board members, volunteers, members and member organisations must declare their support for the objectives of this Equality and Diversity policy.
